The Friends of the Rossland Range was created in early 2004 to implement a permanent solution to protect a 5,000 hectare area near Rossland, BC, reknown for its excellent hiking, wildlife viewing and general recreational activity.
In 2003, the Rossland community overwhelmingly supported the formation of a registered society to address the complex legal issues and reach a permanent solution to protect the area from motorized use.
The website was created to assist in communication with current and potential members of the society. This web work led to serving on the Board of this organization which is very important to the community.
